  • Speed Bump RequestAcknowledged
235 Kohary Drive New Haven, CT - Westville
Requesting traffic study can be conducted in order to determine if a speed bump or other traffic calling deterrent is needed.
  • 18 Edgewood Way New Haven, Connecticut - Westville
Speed Bumps are needed on Edgewood Way approaching Forest Rd. Speed Bumps approaching the curve from Edgewood Way to Forest Rd may reduce the amount of vehicles that are speeding and possibly running the traffic light, cutting down on the amount of vehicle accidents that have been occurring at this intersection at Edgewood Way and Forest Rd.
    Thank you,

  • 1060-1100 Quinnipiac Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - Fair Haven Heights
This is an accident- and law suit-waiting to happen: no barrier whatsoever on sidewalk- a car, pedestrian, or bicyclist can just fall right in to the creek
  • State St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Downtown
Street parking along State Street significantly impedes visibility of approaching traffic when exiting State/Trumbull Parking Lot.
Drivers exiting the lot have to slowly advance until the front half of their vehicle is well into the travel lane before being able to see around the parked car. Oncoming traffic is often approaching at a high rate of speed, and frequently honk and swerve around rather than slowing or stopping. This intersection is an accident waiting to happen, especially on an evening when the restaurants in the area are busy.
  • Whalley Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Beaver Hills
Two police cruiser parked at a traffic corner on Whalley Ave while the officers stand chatting. A motor bike just wheeze by on a red light in front of them. I'm pretty sure they both were on duty.

    RMS Cuts down CITY TREE.

This poor tree survived twelve months of construction, but today it is cut down, with no warning?

Did the City approve of this? Or is RMS breaking the rules, yet again!

If the City did approve, why was this tree cut down? Again, it survived a full year’s worth of construction and was doing just fine.

  • 318-324 Whitney Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Bishop-Hine
There is a dead looking tree limb extending completely over the sidewalk on the west side of Whitney Avenue just south of Edwards Street and north of the bus shelter. This tree limb looks like it will fall and could cause serious injury if it lands on someone. Please take steps to barricade this area until the tree limb is removed. The tree may be owned by Yale University, but the city has an obligation to provide safe sidewalks. Thank you.
